Skin Academy

The Skin Academy department offers the state-required program for becoming a licensed skin therapist. Classes are held in a state-of-the-art facility that provides a real-life environment, allowing you to perfect your skills in realistic surroundings on real people. Developed in alliance with the International Dermal Institute, the Skin Academy Department's advanced training system focuses on personalized attention. This unique program brings a new depth of understanding and knowledge of classical professional techniques, such as international skin treatments, speed waxing, customized treatment protocols, skin analysis, ingredient technology, makeup techniques, and prescriptive retailing.

Estheticians are working for plastic surgeons and dermatologists, doing facial services, waxing, and assisting. With an exceptional educational foundation, you’ll be able to choose from unlimited opportunities.

Night School

For your convenience, most Paul Mitchell Partner Schools offer you the opportunity to follow your dream, develop your creativity, and expand your career horizons with a schedule you can handle. The California Academy – A Paul Mitchell Partner School’s Night School offers the same great curriculum taught in our award-winning daytime classes.

About the Program

We offer our 600 hour Esthetics Program only as a full time program. Our full time program takes approximately 17 weeks to complete and classes are held Tuesdays - Saturdays from 9:30a - 5p. Classes are limited to no more than 12 future professionals per class.
